Following in the footsteps of our national founders on;December 4th 1971 nine illustrious women brought Sigma Gamma Rho to The Ohio State University Campus. The women who started The “Fly” Delta Phi legacy are: Wilma Hall Watts, Cathy Vaughn Chapman, Cynthia Clemons Winchester Lee, Alicia Jones, Ruby Reynolds Smith, Deborah Davidson, Carol Jackson, Sandy Beckford, and Nancy Scott.In the past this chapter held the annual fashion show and did more cross council events than any other organization. Now the women of Delta Phi are working hard to promote member development, GPA, Graduation, and the education of youth throughout Columbus. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. does not tolerate hazing of any form.
